Where 'less is more' takes on a whole new meaning.
In a collaborative effort with ANAC and the Rhino Recovery Fund (RRF), our team embarked on a mission to Sabie Game Park (SGP) to dehorn two majestic white rhinos.
The rhinos were darted and immobilized to then painlessly remove their horns so as to remove the poaching target on its proverbial back.
It’s currently what we have to do to make a difference and save a species. Nobody wants to see a dehorned rhino but the same sentiments apply to a poacher who is far less likely to want to kill one without a horn.
