MWA veterinarians carried out a rescue operation to safeguard the welfare of a young crocodile.
The crocodile was relocated from KaTembe to the safe environment of Maputo National Park.
This intervention allows the crocodile to thrive in its natural habitat, and prevents the animal from establishing itself in a potential human inhabited area, preventing future human-wildlife conflict.
