Manjacaze District

Memo, located in the Manjacaze district of Gaza, is situated about 210 km from the capital. Bordering Inhambane province to the north, Memo is known for its high-quality water and productive aquifers, with depths ranging from 20 to 100 meters.

 

The area boasts dense forests and excellent pastures, leading to frequent human-wildlife encounters. Renowned for its high-quality maize and beans, Memo now benefits from an electric fence protecting 8 hectares.

 

Before this, no surrounding areas were cultivated. We are collaborating with 52 families, ensuring sustainable farming and community resilience.
