Rosalie's Collaring Mission

In collaboration with ANAC and the Peace Parks Foundation, the MWA team recently collared an adult elephant cow using GPS/VHF technology in Zinave National Park.

The real-time tracking provided by the collar, worn by the elephant named Rosalie, will contribute valuable insights to ongoing research efforts, facilitating evidence-based decision-making for the conservation and protection of the elephant population and the broader ecosystem of Zinave National Park.

The collaborative approach and technological innovations represent a model for sustainable wildlife management, demonstrating the importance of partnerships in safeguarding our ecosystem.
